The University of Arkansas Men's Junior Golf Camp: 12-18 Yrs of Age

The location is the Razorback Training Facility located at the Blessing golf Club, which hosted the AJGA’S Junior Championship at the Blessings in 2008, 2009, and the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions in 2010. The Blessings will be the host of the SEC Women’s Championship in 2012 and the 2013 Men’s NCAA Regional. This facility is the newest addition to the University of Arkansas golf programs. Located just 5 miles from campus, it features indoor and outdoor training facilities. In June of 2004, the Robert Trent Jones Jr. design was unveiled with the championship tees set at approximately 7,500 yards, cavalier zoysia fairways, and bent grass greens with Precision Air. The course has already gained a reputation as one of the premier courses in Southern U.S. It is a Peter Kostis designed practice tee, wedge greens, and short game areas. The Blessings uses Titleist ProVI range balls to be used with laser range finders at each hitting station. This facility features both bent and Bermuda greens for all of the demanding challenges in NCAA golf. It includes over 60,000 square feet of tee boxes that enable the golfer to hit balls in 180 degrees of wind direction. The Fred and Mary Smith Razorback Training Facility, located on the practice tee, houses the coaches’ offices, locker rooms, players’ lounge, five heated hitting bays, video bay and putting studio.
